During day time, the soft shape of the lamp and the sky as a background makes it almost disappear.
In the evening and in the dark, the soft shape embraces the light without dazzling.
Mirum is Dark Sky Approved. This means that the lamp create a dark-friendly lighting with a positive effect for biodiversity and stargazers.

moom / made out of mussels is an R&D project on a new composite material and a bio based alternative to many traditional fossil materials.
Shells from, among others, blue mussels are left over from the food industry an often used as land fill. Shells are found in enormous quantities globally and have an overlooked potential and value.
Shells cleanse the water and absorbs CO2. Increased cultivation of mussels is recommended by the EU Water Framework Directive (WDF). The moom materiale consist of 90% granulated shells using a bio binder. The material is biodegradable and can be recycled.

The door handle is made out of the material: moom / made out of mussels.
It is designed for Randi a/s and Eco Schulte GmbH.
The door handle consists of 90% granulated mussel shells from the Limfjord in Denmark. The surface has a homogeneous, marble like structure and makes each handle unique. The door handle is recyclable.

This summerhouse has only one separate room: the bathroom.
everything else is related to a common room.
Built in wood and with a larch cladding. Large folding door sections can open the facade completely and make inside and outside flow together.

Is an acoustic ceiling and wall system made out of willow slats and designed for moow / made out of willow.
Willow grow quickly and are felled after 4-5 years of growth and does not need to be replanted but grows again. Very CO2 absorbent.
A bio-materiale is used as an acoustic textile. Is validated by Sweco acoustic and DTU sound lab as an class A performance.
I am a co-founder of moow / made out of willow together with pilebyg a/s and Peter Mørk.
